As a kid I have always been interested in our great country and its leaders. I have two extraordinary moments.

Part 1

When I was 13 years old in Brooklyn, New York, my teacher said to me in history class, for whatever reason, I would never see a black president, a woman president, a Jewish president or a gay president. So when President Barrack Obama won his first term – that was an extraordinary moment for me.

Part 2

As a kid, I was told I would never meet a president in my life time. I am now 52 years of age, and I have met three presidents. I had the honor of shaking hands with President Ronald Reagan, President George Bush and President Bill Clinton.

I have learned from those experiences that hard work, honesty, respect, integrity and love for all humans regardless of race, religion, etc., will bring extraordinary moments, just like in my life. I am confident there will be many more before I meet our creator, which in my eyes, will be the most extraordinary moment.
