RockNacappella, a Santa Clarita-based a cappella performance youth group, has been selected to perform a full-length concert at Upstairs at Vitello’s Jazz & Supper Club on August 24.

The 90-minute show will feature a diverse line-up of pop, rock, musical theater, patriotic and gospel songs, as well as vocal percussion (beat boxing) and dance.

“We are excited about the opportunity to really showcase the talent of these young performers in a fantastic venue,” said Kim Ryan, managing director of RockNacappella. “While the group has only been around since earlier this year, the demand for performances has been amazing.”

The concert begins at 7 p.m. and doors open at 6 p.m. Vitello’s is a family-friendly venue located at 4349 Tujunga Avenue in Studio City.

General admission tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at vitellosjazz.com/event/an-evening-with-rocknacapella/.

RockNacappella, whose members range in age from 8 to 18, has recently performed at the FutureFest Festival of New American Musicals, GraceFest, Kayley Stalling’s CD release party and concert, Santa Clarita Mayor’s prayer breakfast, the Memorial Day ceremony at Forest Lawn and much more. The group is expected to release its first CD this winter.

More information is available at rocknacappella.com, as well as on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter.
