Newhall: 2 injured in 2-car collision

Two men were taken to the hospital Monday afternoon with undisclosed injuries following a two-vehicle collision in Newhall, fire officials said.

Shortly after 4 p.m., firefighters with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to reports of a traffic collision on Foothill Boulevard near Sierra Highway one mile north The Old Road, a Fire Department spokesman said.

Two occupants of a Ford Ranger Super Cab pickup truck were injured when their truck flipped onto its side, he said.

The driver of the other vehicle — a Honda Accord — was not injured, the spokesman said.

A man in his 40s and a man in his 20s were taken to the hospital, he said.
