A 60-year-old man suffered a broken leg after being struck by a car in Saugus earlier today, a sheriff’s spokesman said.
Lt. John Rush of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station said the man was hit by a car that was pulling into the parking lot of the Saugus Cafe on Railroad Avenue around 11:45 a.m.
The man was transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital for treatment, Rush said.
