1 injured in Bouquet Canyon head-on collision

One person was rushed to the hospital with undisclosed injuries this morning following a head-on collision in Saugus, according to emergency response officials.

Shortly after 7:30 a.m., officers with the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a head-on crash on Bouquet Canyon Road at Texas Canyon Road, a CHP spokeswoman said.

Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department were dispatched to the crash at 7:37 a.m., said a Fire Department spokesman.

“It was two miles north of the Texas Canyon ranger station, and it was a head-on collision,” the Fire Department spokesman said. “One patient was transported to hospital.”

The Fire Department had no information relayed from the scene pertaining to the condition of any other person involved in the crash.

The one injured person was taken to the hospital at 8:10 a.m., the spokesman said.

@dispatcher I would have expected them to be transported to Albertsons Pharmacy at the corner of Sierra and Soledad. Glad the article cleared that up for us.
