Musicians rock for Santa Clarita Valley homeless shelter

Santa Clarita Valley residents are invited to a free concert this Saturday benefiting the Santa Clarita Valley homeless shelter.

The event starts at 3 p.m. and runs until 6 p.m. at the Hart High School auditorium.

The concert is a musical salute to Elton John and features Santa Clarita-based professional singers, songwriters and musicians performing the music of Sir Elton John with unique arrangements and style.

Concert attendees are asked to bring donations of food, paper goods or gift cards such as those from Home Depot or Walmart.

Hart High School Auditorium is located at 24825 Newhall Ave.

Shelter’s Urgent Need Items
Styrofoam cups
#2 Styrofoam plates
#3 Sugar
#4 Foil
#5 Plastic Forks
#6 Plastic Spoons
#7 45 gallon trash bags
#8 Food handling gloves

So who is going to play Elton dancing wih the boy scout models?
And what is #2 Styrofoan plates? Why would some one make #2 on a plate? I can see #1 in a styro cup if they were testing.
