Vicki White is the Science Lady. and this week she paid a visit to the kids at the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley.

It was a hair-raising experience.

White gives kids a hands-on view experience in science while teaching lessons based on the so called "STEAM Program," based on a science, technology, engineering, art and math focus.

The event was made possible by a grant from the Henry Mayo Newhall Foundation that will fund Science Lady lessons for the summer and during the school year at the Boys & Girls Club in Newhall.
