One person was taken away in an ambulance Tuesday afternoon following a motorcycle crash on Bouquet Canyon Road near Soledad Canyon Road.

The crash apparently occurred when a motorcycle collided with a black Nissan near the middle of Bouquet Canyon Road.

Michael Kugel said he was driving to work in the direction of Bouquet Junction when he saw the Nissan making a left turn onto Bouquet.

He said he saw the motorcycle move toward the turning lane in the center of the road while the Nissan was still completing its turn.

Kugel said the motorcycle was tipped up onto its front wheel at the time it struck the back of the Nissan.

The motorcycle came to rest in the turning lane in the middle of Bouquet Canyon Road. The Nissan suffered damage to its back end.

The motorcyclist was transported from the scene by ambulance, but Kugel said the motorcyclist appeared lucid after the crash.

As of 12:55 p.m., the Nissan and motorcycle had been removed from the road and traffic was largely unimpeded moving through the area.
