Two people were hurt in a single-vehicle crash near the Big Oaks Lodge on Bouquet Canyon Road Sunday, said a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Shortly before 3:15 p.m. Sunday, a car traveling on Bouquet left the roadway, said Fire Department Supervisor Cheryl Sims.

“The call came in initially as a traffic collision with a vehicle on fire,” she said.

Responding firefighters, however, reported finding no fire but did report finding two people in need of medical assistance, she said.

“Our report was updated to say two people did need some type of medical aid,” Sims said.

The identity, gender and extent of their injuries were not disclosed.
