A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital Sunday after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed through a chain-link fence near Agua Dulce.

Shortly before 10 a.m. Sunday, paramedics responded to reports that a motorcyclist crashed on Soledad Canyon Road east of Agua Dulce Canyon Road, said Fire Department Supervisor Ray Dong.

“One patient was transported to the hospital,” he said.

The motorcyclist, whose age and identity were not disclosed, suffered “minor to moderate” injuries and a concussion and was taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, said California Highway Patrol Officer Ryan Cisek.

“Basically he was going too fast, lost control and crashed through a chain-link fence,” he said.

The crash, which involved a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, happened near the White Rock Lake Resort on Soledad.

“He was riding with a large group of motorcyclists,” Cisek said.
