Homicide detectives looking for a Saugus High School grad who went missing from her current home in Brentwood Saturday are now checking reports the woman has been found safe, according to an officer with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.

Janelle Elizabeth Reynoso, 25, who graduated from Saugus High School class of 2007, went missing from her home on 11000 block of Montana Avenue around 2:20 a.m., detectives with the Department’s Homicide Bureau wrote in a news release issued Sunday morning.

Unconfirmed reports posted online indicate the missing woman has been found safe.

“We haven’t received those updates yet,” said LASD Officer Castillo at 12:10 p.m. “The detectives are still out in the field.”

Reynoso’s car - a white 2009 Scion TC bearing the California license plate of 6FGR044 -  is also missing, they reported.

Her family is very concerned and is also asking for the public’s assistance, they said.
