The smell of smoke inside an office on Cinema Drive in Valencia prompted a swift response this morning from the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

At 8:21 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to the 23000 block of Cinema Drive near Bouquet Canyon Road for a report of smoke inside the building, said fire Inspector Anthony Akins.

Three fire trucks arrived at the building at 8:24 a.m., and by 8:26 a.m. firefighters had canceled the call. They brought an industrial fan into the building to blow the air out.

There was no one hurt and no sign of smoke or fire, he said.

“I smelled smoke so I called the Fire Department,” said one of half a dozen women standing outside the building.
