Government misdirection

This sequester panic is government fraud and misdirection at its best.

We are being told that we cannot reduce future federal budget expenditures by $85 billion. This is not even a cut, it is a reduction in budget growth. How then is it possible for this same government to tell us that they can find $680 billion in "fraud and waste" from Medicare? The two promises conflict with each other and create a real question about government honesty.

The sequester is budgeting by default but apparently the only way we can actually slow down the federal freight train. By the way, do not look for an account of how we saved the $680 billion on medicare, you will never see it.

This is the new transparency, so clear it is almost invisible.

Excellent LTE, Gary.

Indeed, Gary. We're to believe the entire Federal Budget is perfection and a ~2% reduction in the projected rate of increased spending is catastrophic?

Please. Don't presume to insult our intelligence. Not all of us are sheep.
