Be cautious as kids go back to school

There is not enough emphasis on the safety factor of kids going back to school.

Parents have to be extra aware, along with anyone participating in getting the kids to school and home again without any mishaps.

Be patient with the traffic. And parents, be patient with the influx of cars on the roads in getting the little and big darlings to school and home again.

To the little darlings and the big darlings: Don’t run helter skelter to the streets haphazardly when school is out.

Mommies, dads and school buses will wait for you if are late.

Kids, the most important thing is not to forget to bring that big red apple.

Big red apple? While you're at it, don't forget to bring your ink for the inkwells.

"There is not enough emphasis on the safety factor of kids going back to school."

According to extensive empirical data studies utilizing the vast resources of the Eisenberg Institute, no doubt.

I cannot believe they continue to post letters of this caliber.

I can only surmise that someone in the office lost a bet and that's how this came to be published.

Lois, the only thing these kids and parents need to be concerned with is that you are behind the wheel. Watch out for that too tall mailbox at the post office and turning right on red lights now!

SUCH A COMPLETE DISREGARD FOR THE STUDENTS SAFETY from the above posters **

Here's one for you posters to ponder about:
"Teen arrested for Instagram hoax threatening to shoot students at Valencia High in Santa Clarita"

Per "The L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. will take precautions to insure the safety of our students, while this is being investigated"

The above LTE was just asking for the same precautions to insure the safety of our students.

It is sad that one cannot fathom the seriousness of this matter to protect our
students SAD, SAD, SAD and it also sad that inane posts have to be posted **

chefgirl358: Posted: August 17, 2014 8:16 p.m.

It's ensure not insure.

"The above LTE was just asking for the same precautions to insure [sic] the safety of our students." NO, that's not what you were asking for at all Lois.

As usual, you were whining at and scolding people about driving, which you seem to be unable to do without great difficulty. Your post had ZERO to do with safety IN school or from cyber crimes.

projalice11: Posted: August 17, 2014 8:57 p.m.

Chefgirl your lack of comprehension is mind boggling **

Boggling: to do or proceed ineffectively or badly through clumsiness, stupidity,
or lack of ability .

therightstuff: Posted: August 17, 2014 11:33 p.m.

"""And parents, be patient with the influx of cars on the roads in getting the little and big darlings to school and home again."""

Good tip. Washing off the blood stains from your front bumper can take hours.

chefgirl358: Posted: August 17, 2014 11:54 p.m.

Try, lol, thank you for that laugh!

Lois, the only boggling here are the marbles rattling around on your head.

17trillion: Posted: August 18, 2014 11:27 a.m.

Keep writing them Lois, if for no other reason than the comedic effect.

Next Eisenberg Institute of Safety study: Securing shopping carts in parking lots.

17trillion: Posted: August 19, 2014 12:10 p.m.

Why did you capitalize "Hum"?

projalice11: Posted: August 19, 2014 3:28 p.m.

philellis: Posted: August 22, 2014 4:14 p.m.
