Those WMDs surface in Iraq

Did anyone else note the TV newscast showing insurgents in Iraq opening the old bunker?

The ISIS video showed dozens of bombs with chemical agents still present. That means WMDs were found in this remote bunker!

No one wants to touch them for fear they are unstable.

Too bad they were not found earlier because then the “Bush lied” crowd would have no ammo.

20 years old chemical warheads don't work. Bush lied about Saddam harboring terrorists. Bush lied about Saddam threatening "the homeland". Bush and Cheney did not want Saddam holding back the spigot and did not want Saddam trading with the Chinese for gold rather than dollars. The Iraq invasion was called for in the Project for a New American Century, a thinly veiled declaration of war against the rest of the world.

"An added danger is that chemical weapons have a long shelf life. Even if not usable as munitions, the chemicals can still present a threat decades on."

April 1993

Assassination Plot on George H.W. Bush

During the former president's visit to Kuwait to commemorate the coalition's victory over Iraq in the Gulf War, Kuwaiti authorities arrested 17 people allegedly involved in a car bomb plot to kill George H.W. Bush. Through interviews with the suspects and examinations of the bomb's circuitry and wiring, the FBI established that the plot had been directed by the Iraqi Intelligence Service. A Kuwaiti court later convicted all but one of the defendants.

In retaliation, President Clinton two months later ordered the firing of 23 cruise missiles at Iraqi Intelligence Service headquarters in Baghdad. The day before the attack U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Madeleine K. Albright went before the Security Council to present evidence of the Iraqi plot. And, after the U.S. attack, Vice President Gore said the attack "was intended to be a proportionate response at the place where this plot" to assassinate Bush "was hatched and implemented."

The wackos on the extreme left will never believe things said by a Republican even when they ae supported by their own party members.

Nitesho: Posted: July 3, 2014 11:23 a.m.

yep. it's those gosh darn pesky facts that seem to muck up the likes of Steve, Indy, ricketzz, Bingo Lady and the gas bag Betty Arenson.

I went out of my way to get liberal sources like the PBS and CNN. Not someone's home earthlink website...

AlwaysRight: Posted: July 3, 2014 12:09 p.m.

Phil- my hat is not working well. The foil antennae only get NPR...

Indy: Posted: July 3, 2014 2:01 p.m.

Notice the LTE writer has no link or proof of this video . . .

Or even understands that the ‘years’ the US was there, with our large military, couldn’t find them either!

Anyway, show me the video . . . where’s the ‘proof’.

BrianBaker: Posted: July 3, 2014 2:29 p.m.

They never found D. B. Cooper, either.

I guess he didn't exist, either. The plane just hijacked itself.

Nitesho: Posted: July 3, 2014 4:59 p.m.

(W)Indy

Google "isis chemical weapons"

Select either web, news or video. It's all there. From CBS, the telegraph, wsj, cnn, pbs, etc.

Or would you like me to link it for you?

For you to get off your lazy duff. Duh!

Indy: Just provide the evidence . . .

Nitesho: Posted: July 4, 2014 6:44 a.m.

Indy....just google Isis chemical weapons. Videos and articles are all there. Not sure why it's so hard for you to do that.

ricketzz: Posted: July 4, 2014 7:22 a.m.

I never use Google. They keep a list of where one searches. DuckDuckGo just finds results. No algorithms.

About 20 years or so ago the Neocons started operating in the clear, apparently because people are too dumb to believe their own lyin' eyes. It's easy to dismiss an unpopular truth with a tinfoil hat joke, but that action will return to nip your derriere.

Do you have a mobile phone that uses the Android OS, ricketzz?

Indy: """Anyway, show me the video . . . where’s the ‘proof’."""

Take a page out of Indy's book. Every time someone asks for 'proof', go off on Fox News, ignore them, tell them you already did, and then personally attack them.

Does the hypocrisy EVER end with this idiot?

Nitesho: Posted: July 4, 2014 8:39 a.m.

It doesn't TRS. Like the gas bag Betty A, they just pontificate and spew nonsense. I literally gave him the search string for the proof. I just refused to do the hyper linking for him.

CaptGene: Posted: July 4, 2014 9:41 a.m.

Nitesho, it wouldn't matter if you provide a link or not. You could fly him out to Iraq, show him incontrovertible evidence of what you're saying, and unless it reaffirms his preconceived misconceptions, Indy Nile will label you as a "strong willed religious conservative", accuse your source of having some right-wing agenda and then go off on Fox news. He may also point out his degree from CSUN and then question your education.

We've all seen it all from the performance artist we call Indy Nile.

Indy: Why not simply show us the link you made your statement from?

How tough can that be? The history of the internet sites are retained in your browser . . .

I like to know where you get your information . . . and I'm sure the other posters would like to see your source as well.

If you don't want to substantiate your claim . . . then don't but then it holds no real value now does it . . .

Indy: Notice how the conservatives here ‘hold together’ and refuse to support their assertions . . .

This guy is great for posting up links to conservative Op-ed business writers but can’t comprehend the inaccuracies of same or how biased they are.

And what better way to hide your ignorance than not support your positions with reliable information.

Starting to see why they don’t provide the link?

But hey, it’s comedy gold . . .

therightstuff: Posted: July 4, 2014 8:56 p.m.

Indy: I think we know the reason why the poster won’t show us the link . . . now don’t we . . .

Just as we know why Indy cannot provide a single example of where Fox reporting has been factually inaccurate.

Or why Indy can't tell us who had to apologize to the nation for misleading information about the ACA - Barack Obama or Fox News?

Or why Indy can't tell us why Obama and his minions continued to tell us for weeks that the murders in Benghazi were because of a video when they KNEW within 24 hours that it was a terrorist attack.

You don't even try to hide your ignorance, Indy. Except for the crazy BINGO lady, we all see it.

Nitesho: Posted: July 5, 2014 10:27 p.m.

Indy. Type Isis chemical weapons in a search browser. Look it up yourself. Even a 5 year old liberal can do that.

emheilbrun: Posted: July 5, 2014 7:18 a.m.

Indy, here's a link...thoughts?

Yes I have an Android phone. Yes I have read the terms of service. I do not use wifi. I never connect the Android to a connected-to-my-intranet-PC. I do not let my friends use wifi. The only devices at my house that use wifi are my Roku streamer and a Sony streamer. I turn off "Mobile Data" when I'm not using it.

Saddam going for Poppy in Iraq/Kuwait is not Saddam attacking the USA. Considering what has just happened were we wise to depose the Dictator Saddam?

AlwaysRight: Posted: July 7, 2014 9:54 a.m.

Um. Correct me if I am wrong, but, wasn't it documented that Saddam used poison gas on the Kurds in an effort to exterminate them? I recall numerous pix of families and children dead in the street.

The "absence" of the WMD's was merely proof that they were absent/hidden and not necessarily that they did not exist. That is a leap in logic that is not justified by the evidence.

Sort-of like "climate change is man-made". Liberals seem to be afflicted with this logic/leap malady.

tech: Posted: July 7, 2014 11:13 a.m.

Do you use Google Maps, Gmail and/or download apps from the Google Play Store, ricketzz? Or any app/web page that utilizes location services?
