Hillary’s sad Benghazi strategy

As Hillary Clinton prepares for her Democratic coronation as the next Democratic presidential candidate, she’s decided to try dealing with the inconvenience of the Benghazi tragedy through her new book.

I’m guessing that her handlers thought she needed to expand on her last response of: “What difference does it now make?”

Mrs. Clinton met with President Obama the day before her new strategy was released, no doubt to make sure they’ve got their stories straight about Benghazi.

Of course, I like what David Mamet once said: “Always tell the truth — it’s the easiest thing to remember.”
Instead, the strategy they’ve settled on is to demonize anyone who asks a question about Benghazi as politicizing dead Americans.

Don’t answer any direct questions, don’t admit any wrongdoing, and for God’s sake, don’t be honest and tell the truth.

She will gladly hide behind these dead heroes for political cover, but if you seek the truth, somehow you are the one exploiting these terrorist victims.

This is a familiar strategy. If you’re opposed to gay marriage — you’re a hater!

If you’re opposed to abortion — you’re at war with women!

And if you want answers about a terrorist attack that was blamed on a video — you’re politicizing dead Americans!

Tragically, this perverse political strategy to demonize opponents has worked well for Democrats, especially the Clintons.

Grab your barf bags. It’s about to get a lot worse.

It's interesting that Hillary has chosen Fox for her first interview. The reason is because she knows the other networks will be a cakewalk of fawning fans who will be more interested in getting her autograph or learning the name of Chelsea's new baby than why she refused the requests for military support in Benghazi or repeatedly blamed the murders on a video when she knew for weeks it had been a terrorist attack. She wants to get the serious questions over with so she can enjoy the giggle-fests from the Democratic wh0res on the other networks who will do everything possible to defend and protect Hillary rather than seek answers as real journalists.

By the way, Obama's latest foreign policy blunder of trading a possible deserter for five of the world's top terrorists will be Benghazi 2.0. He and his minions will spin and lie and demonize anyone who questions this horrific decision. His subservient wh0res in the media dutifully bought the Benghazi lies. Let's see if they will finally wake up with all the lies being told about Obama's negotiations with terrorists to release Bowe Bergdahl.

TRS, I agree with your analysis of Clinton's goals.

Unfortunately, Greta van Susteran already blew HER chance to deal with Clinton meaningfully by throwing a couple of softballs out there, and then letting it drop.

Brett Baier is typically a lot better. Let's hope he doesn't blow HIS chance to pin her feet to the ground.

therightstuff: Posted: June 4, 2014 4:28 p.m.

I didn't see Greta's interview but I'm really surprised. She has been absolutely outraged by the repeated lies about Benghazi. Hard to believe she would let one of the worst liars of that whole tragedy slither away.

I know that Diane Sawyer of ABC News will be coming up soon. She always looks like she's in desperate need of an enema. Here are the kind of questions we can expect Diane Sawyer to ask Hillary Clinton:

Madam Secretary, why do you think Republicans are such mean people?

What punishment would be suitable for that despicable man who made that video that caused four Americans to die?

When you asked, "What difference does it make?", that should have answered everyone's questions about Benghazi. Why are people so demented to think you would have anything to hide?

What color do you think Chelsea will choose for the nursery?

Can I vote for you now to be our next president?

Do you prefer the right or left butt check when I kiss you good-bye?

Diane Sawyer is such a shameless wh0re for Democrats. I wonder what made her sell out as a journalist?

What made MOST of the media spokesholes sell out as "journalists"?

ricketzz: Posted: June 6, 2014 7:19 a.m.

Haha; nothing on TV news is real. You are arguing over improv comedy.

(Hypocrisy Watch; everybody who works at Fox News directly enjoys the benefits of at least one labor union.)

Did anyone else notice how Reid was channeling Hillary the other day with his "what difference does it make?" comment regarding Bye Bye Bergdahl? I wonder, could they be anymore "in your face"?

Arrogance does that, CG. Despots can't stand it when they're challenged. Demotion and a subsequent retirement announcement are in order.

I tried checking this posters above asserted trademark: 11/4/14

And neither shows this . . .

So I’m going to do some future research to see if you’re penalized for making a trademark claim that doesn’t exist . . . stay tuned.

How funny, the only time Indy Nile does any research it's about something nobody cares about. I'd love to see the reaction of the USPTO when he reports "tech" for falsely claiming a trademark.

You can't make this stuff up!

Here's the Benghazi timeline after the fact. Despite shameless attempts by disgraced liars such as David Brock or hapless Indy to dismiss these facts as "innuendo" or a "conspiracy", this is exactly what happened:

FACT: Barack Obama confirmed he knew Benghazi was a terrorist attack within 24 hours…

ONE DAY LATER...Secretary of State Clinton states, “Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior, along with the protest that took place at our Embassy in Cairo yesterday, as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet.”

THREE DAYS LATER…Press Secretary Carney was asked about a report suggesting Benghazi was a terrorist attack and responded, ““I have seen that report, and the story is absolutely wrong. We were not aware of any actionable intelligence indicating that an attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi was planned or imminent. That report is false.”

FIVE DAYS LATER… Ambassador Rice specifically tells the American people it was NOT a terrorist attack but a spontaneous reaction to an offensive video.

SEVEN DAYS LATER…Barack Obama appears on Late Night with David Letterman. Letterman asks, “Now, I don’t understand, um, the ambassador to Libya killed in an attack on the consulate in Benghazi. Is this an act of war? Are we at war now? What happens here? Obama said, “ Here’s what happened. … You had a video that was released by somebody who lives here, sort of a shadowy character who – who made an extremely offensive video directed at – at Mohammed and Islam”

NINE DAYS LATER…President Obama and Secretary Clinton send a video message to the people of the Middle East, apologizing for the offensive video. Later that same day the President was asked about the attack on Benghazi on Univision. President Obama said, “What we’ve seen over the last week, week and a half, is something that actually we’ve seen in the past, where there is an offensive video or cartoon directed at the prophet Muhammad. And this is obviously something that then is used as an excuse by some to carry out inexcusable violent acts directed at Westerners or Americans.”

FOURTEEN DAYS LATER…Obama appears on The View and Joy Behar quotes Hillary Clinton, calling Benghazi a terrorist attack. She asks Obama point blank if Benghazi was a terrorist attack and Obama says it is an ongoing investigation. Later that same day Obama gives a speech to the United Nations and does not refer to Benghazi as a terrorist attack but mentions the video six times.

As much as Obama wh0res try to deny it, these are the facts. Their leader lied deliberately and repeatedly. And if he will lie about four dead Americans in a terrorist attack to protect his political ass, what else would he lie about?

Obamacare? (37 times including the "Lie of the Year")....IRS? "Not a smidgen of corruption"...Negotiating with terrorists? "We had to take him because of his failing health..."

What kind of people continue to support a guy who continually screws them over?

Oh, please do, apparatchik! Make it your magnum opus! In your complaint, be sure to advise you read it in an internet forum. Because if it's on the interwebs, it must be true!

Benghazi was Petraeus' screwup. He was immediately fired.
