Last week, the following Part 1 crime occurred in Zone 3 Stevenson Ranch:

An incident of domestic violence occurred near the 26300 block of Beecher Lane. A male suspect was arrested after assaulting his wife. The case is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley detectives.

An attempt residential burglary occurred near the 25500 block of Chisom Lane. The victim scared a black male and black female suspect out of his back yard after they knocked on the front door several times. The suspects fled to a newer, black, 4-door luxury vehicle and drove away out of view.

This is the second incident with the same suspects and vehicle in the Stevenson Ranch area. If you see a vehicle matching the above description or any other suspicious vehicle/people, please call the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station immediately.

An attempt burglary occurred near the 26100 block of Salinger Lane. An unknown suspect attempted to pry open rear doors and windows to the residence. The suspect was unable to gain entry.

A residential burglary occurred near the 26100 block of Singer Place. A male suspect ran out of the victim’s residence when she returned home. The suspect fled the location in a silver Nissan Frontier. The suspect’s vehicle was located after excellent follow up investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station patrol deputies/detectives and the suspect was subsequently arrested.

A 2013 Honda CBR 600RR motorcycle was taken from the parking lot near the 25300 block of The Old Road.

A possible arson occurred near the northbound 5 Freeway and Calgrove Boulevard. Approximately one acre of the Angeles National Forest was burned and burnt foil was found near several of the ignition points.

What are you talking about? Don't you realize that Stevemson Ranch is in unincorporated county you idiot? Even if SCV had it's own p.d., almost nothing West of I-5 would be included!

Chefgirl a.k.a DIKE, you kiss your mother with that mouth? Stay on task... The SCV sheriffs are no good. Everyone West or East of the I-5 would be better off without them....
