There were to grand theft autos reported near the same area.  The first incident took place near the 16400 block of Palomino Place.  The victim in this crime had their 1995 trailer stolen from the parking area of the location.  The second incident took place near the 28000 block of Silver Saddle Circle.  In this incident the victim had their 1995 Honda Civic stolen.  The two vehicles have not been recovered.

A vehicle burglary was reported near 28800 block of Flower Park Drive.  In this incident the victim’s rear passenger window was broken and his RV was ransacked.  The suspects also poured water into the victim’s oil and pulled several wires out from the engine compartment.

A second vehicle burglary was reported near the Lost Canyon Road and Oak Springs Canyon Road.  In this incident the victim’s rear window was smashed and several interior items were stolen such as the bench seat and the radio.

Last week there were several residential and vehicle thefts reported in Zone 8. Santa Clarita Station detectives made several arrests last week which they believe were connected to these thefts.

If you’re going on a vacation please make arrangements to have someone look after your home.  Don’t leave your trash cans out once they are empty and remove newspapers that accumulate on drive ways and front doors.  These are indicators that thieves use to guess if your home or not.
