Milone helps A's win again

BALTIMORE (AP) — Pinch-hitter Stephen Vogt singled in the tiebreaking run in the 11th inning, Saugus graduate Tommy Milone pitched six strong innings, and the Oakland Athletics won 4-3 over the Baltimore Orioles on Friday night.

Milone allowed three runs off eight hits as the starter, though he wasn't the pitcher of record.

The A's have now won five of Milone's last six starts

It was the sixth win in seven games overall for the Athletics, who own the best record in the AL (38-23) and the best road record in the majors (21-11).
