"Mommy, why is this street named Walker-Rodas Drive?"
"Because we wanted to honor and celebrate two people who thought it would be a smart idea to drive 100+ miles an hour down a side street."
Why would this name change be considered? To drive down a city street "in excess of 100 mph" is not anything that should be "honored". These two men killed themselves. Everyone should be grateful that no one else in the area was killed.
Since when do we honor reckless behavior?
