Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival daily admission tickets for either Saturday or Sunday are $10 for children, $20 for adults. The two-day pass for both days is $15 for kids, $30 for adults (the Friends of the Festival package ($150) is sold out.)

The Santa Clarita Valley Concert Band will present its sixth annual Swingtime in Santa Clarita concert on April 20 at 7 p.m. at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons. The band will be playing a wide variety of music including swing, standards, Dixieland and jazz.

A haunting work by Welshman Karl Jenkins, The Armed Man: a Mass for Peace, headlines the spring concert on Sunday, March 30 with two performances, 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. The Chorale will be joined by choirs from Valencia, Canyon and West Ranch high schools, as well as College of the Canyons to perform this multicultural work, already a sensation in Europe.
More than 35 years ago, the Rolling Stones were exiled on Main Street. On April 4, they will be exiled on IMAX, thanks to Martin Scorsese. In 1972, Mick Jagger put the finishing touches on "Shine a Light," a song featured on the Rolling Stones "Exile on Main St." album. Oddly enough, Scorsese hopes his documentary - fittingly entitled "Shine a Light" - scheduled to debut in select cities worldwide next week will just be the beginning.
