‘A Jew Grows in Brooklyn’
Jake Ehrenreich, 55, has appeared on Broadway in "Dancin", "Barnum" and "They're Playing Our Song." He starred for Joseph Papp at the Public Theater in the title role "Jonah," and performed Yiddish music in two Off-Broadway productions, "Songs of Paradise" and "The Golden Land". He toured internationally as Ringo in "Beatlemania," and performed with such diverse artists as Richie Havens, Greg Allman, Tito Puente and many others.

SCV, The Place to Be: Pride in the Lake Saturday
The Friends of Castaic Lake hold a pride in the lake day on the second Saturday of each month, which is this Saturday, Jan. 14. This is a great way to get out and do something positive for our community. The group meets at the boat ramp at Castaic Lagoon at 9 a.m. and they will pick up trash until 11 a.m. Gloves, trash bags and trash pickers are provided; all you need to bring is a desire to make one of L.A. County's best parks even better.

Every Saturday, the Placerita Canyon Nature center offers a Family Nature Walk at 11 a.m. and a Native Live Animal Presentation at 1 p.m. There is no charge for these programs and they are fun for the whole family.
