SCV, The Place to Be
The fourth weekend of every month (this month Saturday, Feb. 25 and Sunday, Feb. 26) a monthly marketplace that is fun, festive and entertaining for the entire family takes place at College of the Canyons.

There are free movies, discussions and snacks at the Santa Clarita-Valencia Library every third Saturday of each month, at 1:30 p.m. in the Meeting Room. This Saturday, Feb. 18, the film shown will be 2010's "Shutter Island," with the book by Denis Lehane. This film is rated R, so parents, please abide by the movie ratings for this and other films.

'Spamalot' -- One week only at Pantages
Monty Python's "Spamalot" - the Tony Award-winning Best Musical of 2005 - will return to Los Angeles, playing a strictly limited one week engagement Feb. 28 - March 4, at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood.

We Are Americans - History and Art in Diverse Cultures - comes to William S. Hart Park this weekend. The County of Los Angeles, Department of Parks and Recreation, William S. Hart Park, presents its third annual Black History Month celebration. This celebration is anchored by the complete collection of Genesis Legacy Projects, historical displays of African American, Latin and Native Americans and their experiences in America.
