Tim Lyznick
Marine Military Academy (MMA) named Cadet Tim Lyznick of Santa Clarita, Calif. the March 2012 Cadet of the Month for Echo Company. Lyznick, the son of Linda and Dave Lyznick, is a freshman at MMA and holds the rank of corporal. Robbie Mousselli, a junior biology major, was named to the Dean's List at California State University, Monterey Bay for the fall semester. The Dean's List recognizes students who have achieved a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 for a course load of at least 12 credits. He is the son of Al and Bonnie Mousselli of Valencia. Mousselli is a 2008 graduate of Valencia High School in Valencia.
Natalie Gonzaga-Savvedra
Natalie Gonzaga-Saavedra, an undergraduate Pre-Biological/Pre-Medical Illustration major of Valencia was named to the fall semester Dean's List at Iowa State University. Students named to the Dean's List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work. Gonzaga-Savvedra joined more than 5,000 students named to the list.

Rachel Dominguez, of Newhall, was recently selected to participate in the 2012 Miss Teen Pasadena pageant competition that will take place March 18.
