Harte named honoree for his heart
The Zonta Club of the SCV will honor a familiar face around the Santa Clarita Valley at its annual tribute dinner - Newhall's Duane Harte. The fundraising Celebrity Tribute dinner, scheduled for Friday evening, Nov. 7, at the Odyssey Restaurant in Mission Hills will honor Harte - an Un-Zon (the husband of a Zonta member) and 2003 SCV Man of the Year.

Castaic resident Kelly Hackney's art recently celebrated a "coming out" party at Vino 100 in Saugus. Guests enjoyed wine and light hors d'oeuvres as they viewed a sampling of Hackney's fine art.
Fundraiser benefits camp
