A cause with a spectacular view

Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck attended. So did Marvin the Martian and Pepé Le Pew. It was a "Pour for the Cause" of fighting children's cancer and 130 guests paid $25 each to ride the elevator 384 feet up to the top of the Sky Tower at Six Flags Magic Mountain.

Hart Hall hosts Silents

The film flickered across the large screen in the backyard of Hart Hall in Newhall. William S. Hart and his Pinto pony Fritz galloped through the sagebrush to catch the bad guys. The audience cheered and applauded Hart and Fritz as they fulfilled the creed of the old West to be a man (and horse) of honor and to win the heart of a virtuous woman.
