Corvette Club presents check
By Signal Staff The Santa Clarita Valley Corvette Club recently presented a check in the amount of $4,100 to the Painted Turtle Camp, located in Lake Elizabeth. The funds were the proceeds from the recent All-Corvette Car Show held at Route 66 Classic Grill in Canyon Country. Nick Buro, community relations coordinator for the Painted Turtle, accepted the check for the camp . Buro told Corvette Club members at their monthly meeting that the funds ...

On Christmas Day, Vanessa Brookman's son Myles won't be the only one to find a gift underneath the tree. Her dogs Jack and Ginger will also have a few presents to open. Brookman, who lives in Val Verde, wraps toys and treats every year for her pit bulls, which enjoy ripping off the paper and bows. Each dog also has a stocking.
