Music, Julie Brown entertain at Showdown fundraiser

Noted comedienne Julie Brown, known for the comedy "Earth Girls are Easy" and author of the recent Disney hit "Camp Rock," headlined the fundraiser.

'Bond-ing' for Canyon Theatre Guild

It was a warm night in the Octopussy Lounge in Newhall as guests arrived "by invitation of Her Majesty's Secret Service" for "Casino Royale 008." An affair with wines from small vineyards

While the sunset promised by Assistance League of Santa Clarita Valley for their inaugural Sunset in the Vineyard wine tasting was scorched by recent wildfires, they still managed, quite nicely, to provide a beautiful backdrop to a very different kind of tasting.
