Monday Zonta Golf Tournament - Golf reservations and sponsorship opportunities are now available for the third annual Zonta Golf Tournament scheduled for Monday, May 19 at Robinson Ranch Golf Course. The tournament can accommodate up to 160 golfers. Sponsorships range from $5,000-title sponsor, to $2,000-eagle sponsors, $1,000-birdie sponsors and a $150-par sponsor. The wheels of good fortune
They finally got their cars. West Ranch High School seniors Ashley Cha, 17, and Jill Tuso, 18, picked up their brand new 2008 Pontiac G6 Coupes on April 2. They won the cars, and a bunch of cash, on "Wheel of Fortune," during a show taped Jan. 11. And the hardest part wasn't the waiting - or even the winning. It was keeping the results a secret from their friends from Jan. 11 until the show aired on Jan. 28, as they were required to do by the show's producers.

SCV Scene: Spring has sprung in the SCV
It seems that spring has sprung! I've enjoyed watching the trees and flowers bloom throughout the Santa Clarita Valley in recent weeks. The hills are even green. I know it won't last, but it is lovely for the moment. I am looking forward to the yuccas that bloom in May, my favorite time of year.
Rock, Walk & Wag
Galpin Subaru is the title sponsor of Rock, Walk & Wag, which will be held along Central Park's Perimeter Trail on Saturday, April 27, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The free, fun, family festival will educate the public about the importance of spaying/neutering and raise funds to help keep this life-saving surgery widely available at a reduced rate for the public throughout Southern and Central California.
