With photo albums open to pages of dowel creations and DNA extractions, Tech Trek alumni could barely contain themselves in reminiscing about the impact camp had on them.

The AAUW Santa Clarita Valley Branch was proud to honor an unprecedented 12 young women ...

B&R's been busy

Canyon Country's B&R Gallery is riding high and sharing it. The riding high, of course, includes things going very well on the business side, but lately includes owner Dave Joseph and his son Steven riding in a replica of that famous television car known for flying high - the General Lee. And B&R is sharing its good fortune with the Michael Hoefflin Foundation to further its efforts to battle pediatric cancer.

Dave Joseph and his wife Barbara have been avid supporters of the Michael Hoefflin Foundation since 2001, attending fundraising events and donating items for auction.

The wheels of good fortune

They finally got their cars. West Ranch High School seniors Ashley Cha, 17, and Jill Tuso, 18, picked up their brand new 2008 Pontiac G6 Coupes on April 2. They won the cars, and a bunch of cash, on "Wheel of Fortune," during a show taped Jan. 11.

And the hardest part wasn't the waiting - or even the winning. It was keeping the results a secret from their friends from Jan. 11 until the show aired on Jan. 28, as they were required to do by the show's producers.
