Hart district to begin superintendent search

Hart district board members tonight will begin the search for someone to replace retiring Superintendent Jaime Castellanos.
The special William S. Hart Union High School District board meeting scheduled for 5 p.m. will focus solely on finding a superintendent to lead the 23,000-student school district. Board members are expected to discuss the criteria for selecting a superintendent as well as the scope for finding candidates for the position.
They will also consider hiring a company to provide advisory services for the superintendent search.
Castellanos' last day at the Hart district will be June 30.
