Hart board approves teacher contract

Local ex-attorney sentenced to 3 years

A former Santa Clarita attorney was sentenced to three years in state prison and ordered to pay more than $500,000 in restitution after he pleaded guilty to grand theft by embezzlement Tuesday, according to a Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office report.
