Castaic car fire starts small brush fire

A car fire in Castaic sparked a small brush fire Sunday afternoon, officials confirmed. About 3:15 p.m., a white two-door sedan was reported on fire at the side of the Interstate 5 by the southbound lanes, near the Whitaker brake check area for trucks, a spokesman with the California Highway Patrol officers said.
