Democratic Alliance for Action meeting set for Jan. 28

Santa Clarita's Democratic Alliance for Action (DAA) will host a meeting at 7 p.m. on Jan. 28 at Vincenzo's Pizza, 24504 ½ Lyons Ave. in Newhall. The meeting will feature a presentation from Harrison Katz, who is running for the Santa Clarita City Council. Robin Gilbert from the California Fair Elections Campaign will also discuss the financial influence of lobbyists in California. The organization will also accept nominations for the executive board elections.
