College of the Canyons to Receive $900,000 ‘Deputy Sector Navigator’ Grant

The College of the Canyons Economic Development Division has been awarded approximately $900,000 from the state Chancellor's Office to fund the staffing of three new "Deputy Sector Navigators" liaison positions designed to help community colleges better connect with the industry partners they serve.

County receives new animal rescue trailers

Castaic, CA The County of Los Angeles Department of Animal Care and Control (DACC) has recently received four animal evacuation/transportation trailers. The trailers were donated on behalf of the Animal Care Foundation (ACF), made possible by a life insurance bequest. The ACF earmarked the bequest, along with additional funds in order to purchase these trailers.
