Hotel rolls out red carpet for evacuees

From the ashes of November's Sayre Fire in Sylmar, the Courtyard by Marriott in Valencia and the Red Cross hatched a plan to house evacuees. Saugus board member announces plans to resign

Saugus Union School District Board of Education Member Douglas (Doug) Bryce has announced that he will be resigning his position as a Board Member. Mr. Bryce has accepted a new job in the San Diego area and will be relocating to the San Diego area. In his new position, he will be working from home in Santa Clarita until he is able to sell his home in order to relocate to San Diego, at which point he will submit his official resignation from his Board of Trustees position.
