June 18, 2014 – The Valley Industry Association's Education Foundation received a surge of financial support this week, when Southern California Edison presented the nonprofit organization with a check for $5,000 to support its annual Connecting to Success program. SCV Deputies Conduct Juvenile Crime and Narcotics Suppression / Curfew Enforcement Patrol Operation

On Friday, June 13, 2014, through the early morning hours of Saturday, June 14, 2014, deputies assigned to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station Crime Prevention Unit (CPU) along with deputies from the Crime Impact Team (CIT) and station COBRA detectives conducted a late night saturation patrol operation using patrol vehicles, deputies on bicycles, and deputies on foot patrol. The deputies deployed on the paseos, trails, and streets throughout the city of Santa Clarita. The operation began at 9:00 pm and went into the early morning hours.

County OKs $160,000 contract for SCV Senior Center
