Subscription drive not authorized

The William S. Hart Union High School District has received reports of teens going door-to-door selling newspaper subscriptions to help the local Regional Occupational Program (ROP) career technical classes. The ROP program has not authorized such a fundraising program and local ROP students are not benefiting, according to Jan Burns, ROP specialist with the district.

Reckless driver leads CHP in pursuit to Tarzana

Shortly after 8:30 a.m. today, an officer assigned to the West Valley Area office spotted a black Ford Explorer with paper plates traveling in excess of 100 miles per hour eastbound on U.S. 101 Freeway in Agoura Hills.
