The city needs commitment to the arts

In a recent conversation with some friends a question arose as to how much commitment the city of Santa Clarita has to the arts. I was told there have been some things the city has done, but for the most part, with little or no input from the arts community.

Scary moral relativism

I am pro-Proposition 8. I believe very strongly that marriage is a time-honored and socially critical covenant between a man and a woman with the chief purpose of conceiving and raising children in a loving family environment - a covenant that has been gradually eroded and made to seem wholly irrelevant (until now) over the last 40-plus years.

God blesses Dems and Indies, too

In 1999 I had a discussion with a good friend of mine in Texas. I asked her, "Who are you going to vote for?" Her reply changed my political path for the rest of my life.
