Bush-bashing became major political convenience and the lazy man's pastime. Depending on which poll is cited, President Bush has an approval rating of 22 to 28 percent. Our Democrat-controlled Congress of nearly two years has an approval rating of 9 to 14 percent.

Good luck, Castaic

"New private school upsets neighbors," The Signal, August 22. Zoning laws dictate that multiple families cannot live in a single-family home, yet during the day neighbors in that Castaic neighborhood must endure 100 kids. Imagine what Back to School Night will look like.
