Rancho Pico Junior High School students and staff collected more than 2,700 items for the SCV Food Pantry before the end of 2009. Canned food and other items were collected in a holiday campaign coordinated by the Library Book Club and the library staff. The pantry showed its gratitude for the donation by sending a thank-you letter asking the school to repeat its generous food drive.
