COC receives donation
Michael Moeller, founder and owner of Pacific Funding Mortgage Division, Inc., donated $25,000 to the College of the Canyons Foundation's University Center Capital Campaign.The University Center is a $38 million, 100,000 square foot facility scheduled for completion in spring 2009. It will house up to 10 partner universities offering more than 70 degree and credential programs.
Panel to discuss workforce housing in SCV

Doctor has big heart
The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce and Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital sponsored a celebration for Dr. Samuel Kojoglanian of Newhall as Santa Clarita's first board certified Interventional Cardiologist and the grand opening of his "Mender of Hearts" offices Nov. 7.

California-based construction management firm Gafcon Inc. announced the promotion of Ron Takaki of Canyon Country to department manager of the company's Los Angeles office.
