LONG BEACH - A 68-year-old former Long Beach priest was sentenced today to one year of sex offender counseling and ordered to register for life as a sex offender after he pleaded no contest to sexually molesting three teen girls, the District Attorney's Office announced.
On January 15, 2013, the victims (8-year old male and 7-year old female) were reported to be missing persons by their adoptive mother, Ingrid Brewer, the suspect in this case. Palmdale Station Deputies began an exhaustive search for the victims and eventually located both of them lying near a parked vehicle on a street near their residence. Both victims were hiding under a blanket. Neither child had any type of winter clothing on, despite temperatures in the mid 20's.
