Miller picked up a silver in the super-G Friday to go with the bronze he won in the downhill.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) - On a day when Lindsey Vonn crashed and Canada's pride-and-joy hockey team nearly went down, Evan Lysacek stood up strong for the United States.

In the biggest event of his life, Lysacek - the reigning world champion in men's figure skating - didn't try the most daring routine, but he hit nearly every move he picked. He knew it, too, repeatedly screaming "Yes!" as his music faded.

AP source: McGrady to Knicks in reported three-way trade

HOUSTON (AP) - The New York Knicks have acquired disgruntled guard Tracy McGrady and his massive expiring contract in a three-team swap with the Houston Rockets and the Sacramento Kings, a person with knowledge of the negotiations tells The Associated Press.

The person spoke Thursday and requested anonymity because the deal has not been officially announced.

Camby headed to Blazers; Blake, Outlaw to Clippers

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - The Portland Trail Blazers are picking up needed help on the interior, acquiring Marcus Camby from the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for guard Steve Blake and forward Travis Outlaw.

The team announced the trade on Tuesday. ESPN.com and Yahoo! Sports were the first to report the deal, which also includes cash going to the Clippers.

Doping lab already testing dozens of samples

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) - The scientist in charge of Vancouver's state-of-the-art doping lab says her staff already has tested more than 200 blood and urine samples from Olympic athletes.

Dr. Christiane Ayotte says the new facility at the Richmond Oval aims to process about 2,000 samples - 1,600 urine and about 400-500 blood samples - during the games, which open Friday.
