Lady Mustangs show no quit

The Master's College women's basketball team finished the regular season on a high note Monday night, but just barely.

After Fresno Pacific guard Bricali Cooley sent the game to overtime with a 3-pointer at the buzzer, the Mustangs regained control of the game and edged the Sunbirds 67-63 at Bross Gym.

COC hoops finds a quick escape

The College of the Canyons' women's basketball team edged out Mt. San Jacinto Friday night at the Cougar Cage 81-77 in the Southern California South Region Semifinals.

Close throughout, the lead was never more than seven points as the Cougars (24-8) were able to keep the tempo up and knock their free throws down late in the game.

’Stangs pound Hawks by 35

The Master's College womens basketball team emphatically got back in the win column on Saturday night at Bross Gym, beating San Diego Christian College 76-41 and breaking its five-game losing streak.

The Mustangs (11-11, 6-7) did not allow the Hawks (4-17, 1-12) a basket for nearly 10 minutes, scoring 25 unanswered points at the end of the first half and into the second half.
