Cowboys lock up third

Canyon boys basketball got the win it needed, but not the results it hoped for in a 68-60 win over West Ranch on the road Thursday.

The Cowboys were hoping that both Golden Valley and Valencia would lose Thursday, which would have given Canyon a shot at a three-way Foothill League championship.
