Offense was certainly not in short supply at Canyon High School on Saturday night as the Santa Clarita rode a 48-6 halftime lead to an easy 54-6 victory over the visiting Lions of L.A. Lutheran. The contest was so lopsided that officials decided to call the game early in the third quarter.

Earlier in the day, the Vikings (6-4-1) defeated Kennedy 10-0 but they didn't score their first goal against Golden Valley (0-5-1) until midway through the first half.
