Around the SCV: Vogelsang signs with UC Irvine

The only varsity starting shortstop West Ranch High has known has verbally committed to play baseball at UC Irvine.

Cal Vogelsang, a three-year varsity player, informed Irvine last week, according to West Ranch head coach Casey Burrill.
