Seraphs stifle Cents

VENTURA - Saugus could not contain the green and gold Seraphs of St. Bonaventure as the Centurions fell 35-8 on the road in the semifinals of the CIF-Southern Section Northern Division playoffs Friday night. After the sound of the horn, Saugus football lined at up at the end zone to perform its postgame warm-up for the last time.

Freshman Football Golden Valley 21, Oak Park 16 Jeff Coprich led the Grizzlies in rushing and scored three three touchdowns as the Golden Valley freshman won, 21-16.
