For a baseball team that finished 3-21 last season and winless at 0-14 in the Foothill League, Golden Valley has already caught a big fish in the baseball coaching world. West Ranch wins tight five set match

West Ranch won one of its closest girls volleyball matches of the season on Friday in Hollywood, beating Campbell Hall, 25-18, 25-21, 20-25, 21-25, 15-10. Alison Summers had 17 kills. Sophia Burns had a good all-around match, with 14 kills, 26 assists and six blocks.
